India Post office recruitment application form link are given below. The probation period is two years for Staff car driver post. Applicants should have three years working experience of driving light and heavy motor vehicle.
Indian Post Office Staff Car Driver Education Qualification
- Possession of a valid driving license for light and heavy Motors vehicles.
- Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle)
- Experience of driving light and heavy Motor vehicle at least three years.
- Pass in 10th standard from a recognized Board or Institute.
Desirable qualification :- Three years service as Home guard or Civil Volunteers.

Selection of Driver shall be made on the basis of driving test to assess their competency to drive light and heavy motor vehicles including knowledge of Motor Mechanisms and ability to remove minor defects in vehicle, Theory Test amongst the candidates possessing the requisite eligibility criteria mentioned above. The pattern and syllabus of the tests, date and venue of the tests will be intimated separately to the eligible candidates. No intimation will be sent in respect of other applicants who are not eligible.

In India Post Staff Car Driver Recruitment 2024, there will be a general test related to motor mechanism, then there will be a heavy and motor vehicle driving test. 10-10 marks have been kept for both the tests and only 20-20 minutes time will be given for both the tests. In this, it will be mandatory for general category candidates to get minimum 40% marks, OBC and EWS candidates to get minimum 37% marks and Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe candidates to get minimum 35% marks in each paper.
